Biography
John Christopher Tynan was a New Zealand athlete who competed in both field hockey and cricket. He represented New Zealand in field hockey from 1948 to 1956, including participation at the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne. Tynan also played four first‑class cricket matches for Wellington between 1952 and 1954.
