Biography

*Trailer Park Boys* is a Canadian mockumentary television sitcom created by Mike Clattenburg. It began airing on Showcase on April 22, 2001, and follows the misadventures of residents in the fictional "Sunnyvale Trailer Park" in Dartmouth, Halifax, Nova Scotia. The series originally ran for seven seasons, concluding with a one-hour special on December 7, 2008. The show originated from Clattenburg's earlier short films, including *The Cart Boy* (1995) and *One Last Shot* (1998). *Trailer Park Boys* has spawned four films: *The Movie* (2006), *Countdown to Liquor Day* (2009), *Don't Legalize It* (2014), and *Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties: The Bubbles and the Shitrockers Story* (2024).
