Biography

James Frain is an English actor known for his roles in various television series. He gained prominence for portraying Thomas Cromwell in the historical drama *The Tudors* (2007–2009) and later appeared as Franklin Mott in *True Blood* (2010). Frain also played Warwick the Kingmaker in *The White Queen* (2013), John Sumner in *The Tunnel* (2013), and Ferdinand Chevalier in *Orphan Black* (2015–2017). He portrayed Theo Galavan/Azrael in *Gotham* (2015–2016) and Sarek in *Star Trek: Discovery* (2017–2019).
