Biography
Jaye McBride is an American stand-up comedian and graphic novel artist who made history as the first openly transgender comedian to perform at Madison Square Garden, where she opened for Louis C.K. She has used her platform to address issues within the transgender community, advocating for greater understanding and equality. In 2015, she delivered a TEDx Albany talk titled "Trans 102: Life After Transition," in which she discussed the challenges and next steps for the Trans community in achieving broader acceptance and rights.
