Jeffrey Donovan

Jeffrey Donovan, born on May 11, 1968, is an American actor and director who has gained recognition for his work in film, television, and stage. He was born in Amesbury, Massachusetts, and developed an interest in acting and storytelling at an early age. He studied drama at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he performed in several theater productions, and later continued his training at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.

Donovan began his acting career in the late 1990s with appearances in television series such as "Homicide: Life on the Street" and "Law & Order." His breakthrough role came as Michael Westen in the USA Network series "Burn Notice," which aired from 2007 to 2013. The role brought him widespread attention and a dedicated following, as he portrayed a former spy navigating a world of covert operations, blending action, drama, and humor.

In addition to his television work, Donovan has appeared in a variety of films across different genres. His film credits include "Hitch" (2005), "Changeling" (2008), directed by Clint Eastwood, "J. Edgar" (2011), and "Sicario: Day of the Soldado" (2018). He also directed the short film "La Camioneta: The Journey of One American School Bus" (2012), which was part of the "Sicario: Day of the Soldado" package.
