Biography
Jeremy Samuel Piven is an American actor and comedian known for his work in television. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Ari Gold in the comedy series *Entourage* (2004–2011), for which he received a Golden Globe Award and three consecutive Emmy Awards. Earlier in his career, he portrayed Spence Kovak on *Ellen*, the sitcom starring Ellen DeGeneres (1996–1998). Piven also starred as the title character in the British period drama *Mr Selfridge* (2013–2016).
