Biography
Jerome Abram Bettis Sr. is an American former professional football running back who played 13 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), primarily with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Known for his powerful running style and physical presence on the field, Bettis earned the nickname "the Bus" due to his large size and ability to break through defenses. He is considered one of the greatest power runners in NFL history and ranks eighth all-time in rushing yards. Bettis was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in recognition of his contributions to the sport.
