    Biography

    Jerry Bruckheimer is an American film and television producer known for his work in a variety of genres, including action, drama, comedy, fantasy, horror, and science fiction. He began his career in advertising after college before transitioning to film production in the 1970s. In the 1980s and 1990s, Bruckheimer formed a successful partnership with Don Simpson, producing a number of high-profile films together until Simpson's death in 1996. Among the films Bruckheimer has produced are Flashdance, Days of Thunder, The Rock, Crimson Tide, Dangerous Minds, Con Air, Armageddon, Enemy of the State, Pearl Harbor, and Black Hawk Down. He is also known for producing several popular film franchises, including Beverly Hills Cop, Top Gun, Bad Boys, Pirates of the Caribbean, and National Treasure.
