Biography

Jess McLeod is a Canadian actor and writer known for roles in television and film. They portrayed Janae Mathews in the Netflix teen drama *One of Us Is Lying* and Bernie Simon in the 2023 Christmas slasher film *It's a Wonderful Knife*. Previously, McLeod was credited as Jessica McLeod, including in the 2014 film *Preggoland*, where they played Liz. McLeod now uses the name Jess professionally and identifies with they/them pronouns, having transitioned from using the name Jessica in earlier screen credits.
