Jessica Chobot

Jessica Chobot is the host of *Nerdist News*, *Nerdist News Talks Back*, and *Nerdist News: WTFridays* on Nerdist. She also hosts *Player Vs Player* on Hulu for ESL and is the host and creator of the *Bizarre States* podcast on iTunes. Early in her career, she worked at IGN Entertainment, where she hosted the web series *IGN Strategize* and *The Daily Fix*. She transitioned to television, hosting *G4TV's Proving Ground* alongside Ryan Dunn and serving as a correspondent for *Attack of the Show!* and *X Play*. Chobot also hosted the two-part special *Sand Wars* on the Travel Channel. She is currently the sideline reporter for Season 7 of *BattleBots* on the Discovery Channel and Science Channel, having previously served as a judge on the first two seasons of *BattleBots* on ABC. Over her twelve-year career, she has focused on in-studio productions and event coverage, including the *Nerdist News* show, 343's *Halo 5* live-streamed launch event, The Coalition's *Gears of War 4* live-streamed launch event, and various other live events and e-sports coverage in the entertainment industry. Chobot has also appeared as an industry expert on *ABC World News*, *Extra!*, *FOX News Live*, *CBS News*, and other media outlets.
