Biography
Joe Anders, born Joe Alfie Winslet Mendes, is an American-British actor, screenwriter, and composer. He is the son of actress Kate Winslet and film director Sam Mendes, and the younger half-brother of actress Mia Threapleton. Anders made his film debut with a small role in the 2019 war drama *1917*. He later appeared in the Channel 4 film *I Am Ruth* (2022) and the biographical war drama *Lee* (2023), before starring in the musical coming-of-age romantic comedy *Bonus Track* (2023). In addition to acting, Anders wrote the screenplay for *Goodbye June* (2025), which marks his mother Kate Winslet's directorial debut.
