Biography
Joe Camp, born April 20, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri, was a film director and writer best known for creating and directing the Benji films. He was also recognized for his work with horses and authored a book detailing his experiences with them, titled *The Soul of a Horse*. Camp died on March 14, 2024, in Bell Buckle, Tennessee.
