Biography
Joseph Harold Negri was an American jazz guitarist and educator who gained recognition for his appearances on children's television. He appeared as himself and in the character role of "Handyman Negri" in the "Neighborhood of Make-Believe" segments of *Mister Rogers' Neighborhood*. Negri also performed on the 1958 children's program *Adventure Time* with Paul Shannon and collaborated with Johnny Costa on the 1954 TV series *67 Melody Lane*, which was hosted by Ken Griffin. His career showcased both his musical abilities and his involvement in educational and children's television programming.
