Biography

John Boyega, born John Adedayo Bamidele Adegboyega, is a British actor and producer known for his breakout role as a teenage gang leader in the 2011 film *Attack the Block*. He gained international fame for his portrayal of Finn in *Star Wars: The Force Awakens* (2015), becoming a central figure in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. During his time in the franchise, Boyega received critical acclaim and industry recognition, including the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2016 and the Trophée Chopard at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.
