Biography

John Krasinski is an American actor and filmmaker best known for his role as Jim Halpert on the NBC sitcom The Office, which aired from 2005 to 2013. During his time on the show, he also served as a producer and occasional director. Krasinski gained further acclaim for directing, co-writing, and co-starring in the 2018 horror film A Quiet Place. The film was well-received and earned him recognition, including being named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in the world. He followed up with A Quiet Place Part II in 2020, which he also wrote and directed.
