Biography

John Wesley is a 1954 British historical semi-documentary film directed by Norman Walker. It chronicles the life of John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement. The film stars Leonard Sachs, Neil Heayes, and Keith Pyott, with a screenplay written by Lawrence Barrett. Produced by G.H.W. Productions for the Radio and Film Commission of the Methodist Church in cooperation with J. Arthur Rank, the film offers a dramatized account of Wesley's life and contributions to Methodism.
