Biography
Joseph Frederick Sackett is an American clinical neuroradiologist and professor of radiology who has made significant contributions to the field. Over the course of his academic career, he authored 74 papers in refereed journals and contributed 11 chapters to radiology textbooks. Sackett also served as a visiting professor for 32 semesters, offering his knowledge to students and peers. In acknowledgment of his accomplishments and influence, the University of Wisconsin–Madison created the Joseph F. Sackett Professorship in Radiology, an endowed chair named in his honor.
