Biography
Juan de Landa was a Spanish film actor born in the Basque Country in 1894. He entered the film industry in 1930 with the advent of sound films. Initially, he performed in Spanish-language versions of Hollywood films before transitioning to work primarily in the Spanish and Italian film industries. De Landa is best known for his role in Luchino Visconti's 1943 film *Ossessione*. He remained active in cinema until his death in 1968.
