Karen Lee Orzolek, known professionally as Karen O, is an American singer and songwriter known for her energetic performances and unique vocal style. As the lead vocalist of the band Yeah Yeah Yeahs, she emerged as a significant presence in the 2000s garage rock and post-punk revivals, as well as in the New York music scene.
