Biography

Kehlani Ashley Parrish is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer who first gained attention as a contestant on *America's Got Talent* in 2011, becoming a member of the teen pop group PopLyfe. After leaving the group, Kehlani launched a solo career, beginning with the self-released mixtape *Cloud 19* in 2014. Their second mixtape, *You Should Be Here* (2015), received widespread critical acclaim, earned a gold certification from the RIAA, and marked their first entry on the US Billboard 200. It was also nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.
