Biography
Keiichi Tsuchiya is a Japanese professional race car driver known for his expertise in drifting and for helping to popularize it as a motorsport. He is often referred to as the "Drift King" and became well-known for incorporating drifting techniques into non-drifting racing events, which challenged traditional racing approaches. Tsuchiya has had notable success in professional racing, including two class wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and a second-place finish in the 2001 All Japan GT Championship. He is also recognized for his tōge driving, a form of high-speed mountain road racing practiced in Japan.
