Biography

John Keith Laumer was an American science fiction author recognized for his contributions to the genre. Prior to becoming a full-time writer, he served as an officer in the United States Air Force and later worked in the U.S. Foreign Service as a diplomat. Laumer came from a literary family; his older brother, March Laumer, was a writer who reimagined the Land of Oz for adult audiences, and their younger brother, Frank Laumer, is a historian and writer.
