Biography

Kelly Marie Tran (born Loan Tran, January 17, 1989) is an American actress. She began her acting career in 2011, with most of her early roles appearing in short films and television. She gained global recognition for her portrayal of Rose Tico in the Star Wars sequel trilogy films *The Last Jedi* (2017) and *The Rise of Skywalker* (2019). She also provided the voice for Raya in the Disney film *Raya and the Last Dragon* (2021) and for Dawn Betterman in the DreamWorks Animation film *The Croods: A New Age* (2020).
