Kelly Reno

Kelly Reno was born on June 19, 1966, in Pueblo, Colorado, to a family of cattle ranchers. At age 13, he was cast in the role of Alec Ramsey, a young boy stranded on a deserted island with a horse, in *The Black Stallion*, a film adaptation of the novel by Walter Farley. Reno also appeared in the 1983 film *The Black Stallion Returns*, this time alongside Vincent Spano. His acting career was cut short when he was involved in a serious car accident. The pick-up truck he was driving was struck by a semi-truck, causing severe injuries. The lengthy recovery process ended his time in acting.
