Kevin Sharkey

Kevin Sharkey is an American film director and producer known for his work in the horror and thriller genres. He was born on March 2, 1956, in the United States. Sharkey's directorial debut came with the 1988 film *The Good Mother*, followed by *The Keep* (1983), a supernatural horror film based on the novel by F. Paul Wilson. He also directed *The Hidden* (1987), a science fiction action film starring Kyle MacLachlan. Sharkey's other notable works include *The Last Horror Movie* (2003), a horror-comedy, and *The Watcher in the Woods* (1980), a supernatural thriller. In addition to directing, Sharkey has worked as a producer on several films, including *The Faculty* (1998), a science fiction horror film starring Elijah Wood.
