Biography

Kimberly Nichole Wayans is an American actress, comedian, and director who began her television career portraying Allison in the first season of *A Different World*, a spin-off of *The Cosby Show*. She achieved broader recognition for her work on the Fox sketch comedy series *In Living Color* (1990–1993) and for her role as Tonia Harris on the sitcom *In the House* (1995–1998). Wayans also appeared in the drama film *Pariah*, for which she received critical acclaim and was nominated for two Black Reel Awards and an NAACP Image Award in 2012.
