Biography

Kirsten Olesen is a Danish actress best known for her role as Agnes, a housemaid, in the popular Danish television series *Matador* (1978–1982). She has been a member of Copenhagen's Royal Danish Theatre since 1979. Internationally, she gained recognition for her performance in the title role of Lars von Trier's *Medea* (1988).
