Lance Solomon Reddick was an American actor known for his roles in television and film. He gained prominence for his portrayal of Cedric Daniels in *The Wire* (2002–2008), a complex character navigating the challenges of police leadership. Reddick also played Phillip Broyles in *Fringe* (2008–2013), a high-ranking FBI official involved in a multiverse mystery, and Chief Irvin Irving in *Bosch* (2014–2020), a seasoned police commander. In film, he appeared as Charon in the *John Wick* franchise (2014–2025), a loyal and enigmatic hotel manager, and as General Caulfield in *White House Down* (2013), a military officer during a White House crisis.
