Biography

Larry Kane is an American journalist, news anchor, and author with a career spanning over six decades. He is best known for his 36 years as a news anchor in Philadelphia, where he uniquely anchored at all three Philadelphia-owned and operated television stations. Kane gained early recognition as the only broadcast journalist to travel to every stop on the Beatles' 1964 and 1965 American tours, an experience that inspired him to author three books about the band, along with a memoir and a novel. After retiring from television journalism in 2002, Kane continued his career as a special contributor for KYW Newsradio.
