Biography

Lawrence D. Lieber is an American comic book writer and artist known for co-creating the Marvel Comics superheroes Iron Man, Thor, and Ant-Man. He also played a significant role in the Western genre through his work on the Marvel Western *Rawhide Kid*, for which he both wrote and drew the series. From 1986 to 2018, Lieber illustrated the newspaper comic strip *The Amazing Spider-Man*. He served as editor of Atlas/Seaboard Comics from 1974 to 1975. He is the younger brother of Stan Lee, a key figure in Marvel Comics as a writer, editor, and publisher.
