Biography

LeAnn Rimes is an American singer, songwriter, and actress who first gained fame as a country music artist at the age of 13. Over the years, she has successfully transitioned into pop, contemporary Christian, and other musical genres. Since 1996, Rimes has charted more than 40 singles internationally and has sold over 48 million records worldwide. In the United States, she has achieved 20.8 million album sales, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Billboard recognized her as number 17 in terms of sales success during the 1990–1999 decade.
