Biography
Lee Jae-yong is a South Korean business executive who became chairman of Samsung in October 2022. In 2017, he was convicted on charges of bribery, embezzlement, and concealing criminal proceeds. Following his conviction, Lee served a prison sentence before being pardoned by President Yoon Suk Yeol in August 2022.
