Biography

Lin Shaye is an American actress with a career spanning over 50 years and more than a hundred film appearances. Known for her roles in horror films, she has become a prominent figure in the genre, often referred to as a "scream queen." Her notable horror roles include appearances in *Alone in the Dark* (1982), *A Nightmare on Elm Street* (1984), *Critters* (1986), *Wes Craven's New Nightmare* (1994), and the *Insidious* film series (2010–2026). She has also appeared in films such as *Ouija* (2014), *Ouija: Origin of Evil* (2016), *The Grudge* (2020), and *Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman* (2021), among others.
