Biography
Lucian Gabriel Wiina Msamati is a British-Tanzanian actor, director, producer, and writer known for his work across theatre, film, television, and radio. He has appeared in several notable television series, including HBO's Game of Thrones as Salladhor Saan, the BBC/HBO adaptation of The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency as J.L.B. Matekoni, and Netflix/BBC's Black Earth Rising as David Runihura. Msamati has also portrayed Ed Dumani in the Sky/AMC series Gangs of London and Cardinal Adeyemi in the series Conclave. His diverse and accomplished career showcases his versatility in both stage and screen performances.
