Biography
Lucy Donaldson studied at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, UK, and graduated in 2010 with a Master's in Editing. Her early professional roles included work on *Return to Cranford* and *Just William*, both for BBC television, with the latter earning a BAFTA for Best Children's Drama in 2011. She later assisted BAFTA-winning and Oscar-nominated editor Tariq Anwar. Donaldson has collaborated multiple times with Blumhouse, including editing *Ma*, starring Octavia Spencer, which was released in 2019. In 2023, she edited *A Haunting in Venice* for director Kenneth Branagh. Her career spans a range of genres, including thriller, drama, romance, action, and musicals, across both feature films and episodic television.
