Marco Dapper

Marco Dapper, born Marco Dominic Dapper on July 9, 1983, in Hayward, California, is the youngest of two children, with an older sister. He began acting as a child in plays and continued with community theater after graduating high school. Raised in a Catholic household, he attended Catholic schools. Dapper has worked as both an actor and a model. His television guest appearances include "The Client List," "Mistresses," "Dirty Sexy Money," "90210," and "Veronica Mars." He has also appeared in national commercials for Absolut Vodka, United Airlines, Sears, and Xbox. As a model, he has appeared in Men's Health and in Levi's Jeans ads targeting the Asian market, as well as securing several European modeling assignments.

Dapper arrived in Hollywood in 2003 and began acting training with Doug Warhit, Lesly Kahn, Beverly Hills Playhouse, and Chick Vennera. He was first discovered by NBC scouts and, after appearing on *Meet My Folks* in 2006, landed his first film role in the independent feature *Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds*. The film helped him develop a large fan base, and he promoted its DVD release, appearing on the cover art. Dapper studied martial arts for over 10 years and holds a black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do. Before his acting career, he worked at a UPS warehouse, as a fitness trainer, and sold shoes at a sporting goods store. He continues to work as a waiter.

Dapper joined the cast of *The Young and the Restless* on CBS in April 2012, playing the role of fun-loving troublemaker Carmine Basco. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym, painting, playing video games, and cooking. He listens to rock, reggae, and rap music. Most recently, he exhibited his acrylic paintings in an art show in Hollywood.
