Biography
Margaret Lyons was a pioneering figure in Canadian broadcasting, serving as the first female vice president of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). She played a key role in the CBC's "Radio Revolution," an initiative that modernized and expanded the CBC Radio network. This revamp led to the creation of popular programs such as *Quirks and Quarks* and *As It Happens*. In recognition of her contributions to broadcasting, Lyons was named a Member of the Order of Canada in 2010.
