Marina

Marina is an NSA database and analysis toolset designed for collecting and processing Internet metadata. It enables the agency to track users' browser activity, gather contact information, and generate summaries of targeted individuals. One of its key features is the ability to access up to 365 days of DNI (Defense Non-Intelligence) metadata collected by the SIGINT system, even if the data was not specifically targeted for collection. According to leaked documents from Edward Snowden, the system is capable of storing metadata for up to a year, allowing for extensive retrospective analysis.
