Biography

Mary Louise Weller was born on September 1, 1946, and raised in Los Angeles. A former top model in New York, she made her film debut in an uncredited role in *Serpico* (1973). She gained particular notice for her portrayal of a marine biologist in the made-for-TV film *Hunters of the Reef* (1978) and for her performance as a college student lover to professor Andrew Prine in the horror film *The Evil* (1978). She became widely recognized for her role as sorority girl Mandy Pepperidge in the comedy hit *National Lampoon's Animal House* (1978). Following *Animal House*, Weller continued to appear in a variety of notable roles across both comedic and dramatic genres.
