Biography
Matthew James Aitken is an English songwriter and record producer who grew up in Astley, Greater Manchester. He is best known for his collaboration with Mike Stock and Pete Waterman in the influential 1980s and early 1990s songwriting and production trio Stock Aitken Waterman. Aitken was instrumental in shaping the sound of pop music during that period, producing many hit songs for a range of artists.
