Home and Away is an Australian soap opera that introduces new characters throughout its run. In 2003, during the sixteenth season, several characters joined the series: the Hunter family—Scott, his mother Beth, and his younger siblings Kit and Robbie—who debuted in January, April and November respectively. Additional additions were Isabel Lucas as Tasha Andrews, first appearing in July, and Maggie Kirkpatrick, who returned in November playing her second role on the show as Viv “The Guv” Standish. These introductions occurred under series producer Julie McGuaran.
