Biography
Matthew Sklar is an American composer whose work spans musical theatre, television, and film. He has frequently collaborated with lyricist Chad Beguelin, co-creating the scores for Broadway productions including *The Prom*, *Elf the Musical*, and *The Wedding Singer*. Both *The Prom* and *The Wedding Singer* earned Sklar Tony Award nominations for Best Original Score. His compositions have been staged on Broadway, in the West End, and in theatres internationally, establishing him as a notable figure in contemporary musical theatre.
