Biography

Maurice Dallimore was an English actor who spent much of his career in the United States, specializing in proper British character roles. He appeared regularly or recurrently on numerous television series, including *77 Sunset Strip*, *The Jack Benny Show*, *Honey West*, *McHale's Navy*, *Batman* (as Superintendent Watson), *I Dream of Jeannie*, *The Monkees*, and *Fair Exchange*. Dallimore also made guest appearances on shows such as *The Tab Hunter Show* in 1961 and *Petticoat Junction*, where he played Faversham in the episode "The Butler Did It" in 1965. He also appeared in an episode of *The Rifleman*.
