Michael Sheard was a Scottish actor known for his roles as villains in film and television. He gained prominence for his portrayal of strict deputy headmaster Maurice Bronson in the children's series *Grange Hill*, a role he played from 1985 to 1989. Sheard also appeared in *The Empire Strikes Back* (1980), where he played Admiral Ozzel.
