Biography
Mikhail Red is a Filipino filmmaker known for his work in independent and international cinema. He gained recognition for his 2016 film *Birdshot*, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Red continued to build his reputation with *Eerie* (2019), a supernatural horror film. His most notable achievement to date is *Dead Kids* (2019), which holds the distinction of being the first Netflix Original film produced in the Philippines. Through these works, Red has established himself as a prominent voice in contemporary Filipino filmmaking.
