Biography

Moe Howard was an American comedian and actor, best known as the leader and straight man of The Three Stooges, a comedy team that performed in films, shorts, and television over a span of more than four decades. He was originally part of Ted Healy and His Stooges, a vaudeville act, and became a central figure in the group's slapstick performances. His signature hairstyle, which resembled a bowl cut, originated from an incident in childhood when he accidentally cut off his curls with scissors.
