Biography
Moon So-ri is a South Korean actress and filmmaker who began her career in theater with the Hangang company before making her film debut in Lee Chang-dong's *Peppermint Candy* (1999). She gained international recognition for her role in the romantic drama *Oasis* (2002), which earned her the Marcello Mastroianni Award at the 59th Venice International Film Festival, making her the second South Korean to receive the honor.
