Biography

Akkineni Nagarjuna is an Indian actor known for his work in Telugu cinema, as well as in Hindi and Tamil films. He has appeared in over 90 films and has been awarded two National Film Awards for *Ninne Pelladata* (1996) and *Annamayya* (1997), along with ten Nandi Awards and three Filmfare Awards South. In 1995, he began producing films and later co-founded Heart Animation, an Emmy Award-winning animation company. Nagarjuna has also played a role in the broader film industry, serving as a co-owner of Annapurna Studios and president of the non-profit Annapurna College of Film and Media in Hyderabad. In 2013, he represented South Indian cinema at the Delhi Film Festival's centenary celebration of Indian cinema.
