Biography
Naoko Yamazaki is a Japanese engineer and former astronaut who served with JAXA. She is notable for being the second Japanese woman to travel to space, following Chiaki Mukai. Yamazaki's career in aerospace and her contributions to space exploration have made her a prominent figure in Japan's space program.
