Biography

Natasha Bianca Lyonne Braunstein is an American actress, director, comedian, producer, writer and technology executive. She began her career as a child actress with an uncredited role in *Heartburn* (1986), followed by a recurring role in *Pee‑wee's Playhouse* (1986) and a supporting role in *Dennis the Menace* (1993). Lyonne later took teen parts in independent films including *Everyone Says I Love You* (1996), *Slums of Beverly Hills* (1998), *But I’m a Cheerleader* (1999) and *Party Monster* (2003), as well as appearing in the *American Pie* film series from 1999 to 2012. Over her career she has received nominations for five Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards, and was named one of Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world in 2023.
